

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, David Eugene Masters, whom she married on Ja son, Frank Albert Meadows two step-sons, David J. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for over sixty years and belonged to numerous service groups within the church such as, Stephens Ministry, Trinity Lutheran Women, and the Sewing Service Group. She loved flowers and particularly enjoyed working in her flower garden. She loved traveling and enjoyed demonstrating her machine art at local and national conventions. After retiring at the age of sixty five, Lois taught various forms of sewing machine art such as embroidery, portraiture, lace work and quilting both locally and out of state.

She went on to work for the Big Horn Saddlery, Louise Frances, Jerry Benfit and King Saddlery. She worked as a seamstress for over twenty years at Rudy Mudra’s Saddlery where she crafted fringed jackets, vests and purses from leather. Lois was an accomplished seamstress and talented sewing machine artist. She attended Taylor, Central, and Big Horn School, Miller Country Day School and Sheridan High School. Lois moved with her family to Sheridan in 1919 when she was five years old. Cook and Ida Bell Dayton Cook in Manhattan, Kansas.
